Eight years ago, I didn't even like coffee. I was late to the party. As it turned out, I had just been drinking the bad, burned stuff. But the moment I tasted specialty coffee, everything clicked. I realized a great brew isn't just a drink, it’s the ultimate excuse to bring people together and build a real community. I fell so hard for it that I ended up opening my own café, backed by the coffee and support of Rum Baba Coffee Roasters. BONNIE was one of the first all-vegan cafes in the Netherlands.

Running that shop was a beautiful, chaotic crash course in branding, business, and mastering the art of wearing 47 hats at once.
These days, I’m returning the favor. I’m back with the Rum Baba team, putting those exact multitasking skills to work by writing their copy, hosting events, and supporting the wholesale community.
